The coffee duck has been a wonderful invention to save money on purchasing coffee pods. You buy a large can of coffee grounds or beans (and grind your own) and you're set for weeks!

I have been using this item for almost a year. I am disabled and usually homebound - but I like good coffee, hate using pods, and have a senseo. What a great product! Never any problems unless coffee ground too fine or overfill the pod - then water spitting all over kitchen! Doesn't matter what type of sale coffee I use - still great! I do microwave the milk in my mug first though for hotter coffee. Highly recommend!

Ok - this will never really make as good a cup as a Saeco super automatic but,, for a $500 savings I can certainly live with it.
When the Senseo eventually dies, I can just go to the thrift store and get another one for $10...
We also own a Bialetti Brikka pot for later in the day when I want a (really, really) good cup with "Crema". Check the reviews here on Amazon.
PROS:
1. If you are reasonably careful filling your Duck, no leaks or spills will occur.
2. Play around with different amount of coffee/cup size setting combos, and you can get a pretty good flavor to suit your style.
3. Hit the switch and enjoy the savings....

We tried several times to use this devise and had water all over the counter and no coffee. I am so not impressed.....
